Here is a good article on the Nets search I thought it was maybe a good way to bring up some possible guys we could bring in to run things. For me it was interesting because I didn't really have anyone that stuck out in my mind as someone I wanted to be the person to come in if we move on or if they decide to keep him add to Milt.

He was in the mix for the Sixers GM job three or four years ago, but pulled out for whatever reason. In Minnesota's defense, we have a way better situation in terms of talent already here than Philadelphia did. He's a really intelligent guy. You'd think he'd want to have a go at it on his own instead of being under Ainge's control, so to speak.

As I've already mentioned lately, I fear for the future of the NBA when guys with spreadsheets are the ones making the personnel decisions. I'm convinced you have to have a mix of basketball knowledge and analysis...

Zarren seems like a good candidate (thanks for bringing his name up Can) but I also read he also is basically being groomed to take over for Ainge. Ainge turns 57 in March so it's not like he is old but if he thought he had THE guy to take over for him maybe he steps down some at some point and let's Zarren take over. Idk but I would think it's going to take a great situation to get him away from Boston. This situation has the players but it's a pretty unstable one past that right now.
