Yeah, upset is not the right word. KG is getting a lot of love from both the Timberwolves and the rest of the NBA. With all LST's speculation about bad blood, which may or may not exist, I am HAPPY that the separation is being handled so well.
I have no inside knowledge, but from the various reports over the offseason KG had hoped he would be able to return for another season, and has been working this summer to achieve it. His departure would seem much more related to his knee not accommodating his wishes verses the Wolves wishing he would go away. The things said by both parties support that notion, and I am much happier believing that is the case.
