Yes, but Flip still seems to have a woody for Jahlil. And according to Ford and Barreiro, most of the Wolves front office doesn't agree with him. That's comforting to me, as is the fact that Towns seems to be separating himself from the pack with the pundits more and more. I still think Flip will get this right.

You're more confident in Flip than I am. I figure he's like most of us, and when we have our opinion about a guy, it rarely changes, especially within the same month. I think this could be another case like last year where the decision-maker overrules his correspondents. For example, last year, everyone within SAC's FO wanted Elfrid Payton and owner Vivek Ranadivé wanted Nik Stauskas. Flip wants Jahlil, so Flip will get Jahlil. He's a stubborn old man.

I wouldn't compare Flip to Sacramento's terrible owner. At least Flip has a clue. Flip does need to keep an open mind and listen to his scouts. He can't dig in like us posters and get irrational about one guy. He needs to have a detail plan of success for whoever he picks. Ultimately Flip will be the one who owns the pick good or bad. He needs to go with his gut, but he needs to keep an open mind and compile as much information as possible.

I wasn't comparing Flip's basketball mind to Vivek's basketball mind, but rather a stubborn decision-maker to another stubborn decision-maker. If Flip's leaning Okafor's way right now, what makes you think he'll change his mind in three weeks?

I'm not saying he will. There is three weeks for scouts to really present their case. There are workouts and interviews. I hope Flip is keeping an open mind on everything. This pick is very important.

He has a sweet shooting strike and it looks like his ball handling is pretty good. I'd say he is gonna be a PF he is still young I think he gets stronger. He isn't explosive but he has that Pek quality about him where they both just know how to play get to the right spots and nice touch. He is interesting I wish he was playing in a stronger league but what he is doing is still pretty good at that age. I wouldn't mind using a 2nd rounder on him if he stays in. I wish we had another lower one like in the 40's range. Maybe we will end up with a lower 2nd rounder if Flip moves up.

It's what 3 weeks from the draft and that's still a pretty good amount of time for movement of draft boards. I remember last year it was pretty tight between 3 guys and then Embiid had injuries and it was down to 2 guys Parker and Wiggins and I know there was a few days it sounded like maybe the Cavs would take Parker. I think unless something else happens we end up with Towns just like the Cavs ended up taking Wiggins.

So Wolfson tweeted that Flip amd Co already saw Towns in a private workout.

Towns is reportedly declining a private workout for LA.

Shooter says the Wolves have already decided on Towns.

Okafor said "when" he in LA he hopes Kobe will be hard on him.

What does it all mean?

Good questions. I hadn't heard Towns had declined to workout for LA

It means we need to get another Final 4 MVP it's been a while. We will get Tyus Jones in the draft and sign Kyle Singler as a FA. Lol
