Imagine that, a pro athlete getting himself in the best shape possible for his rookie season. How does he do it?

Bud had a "meniscectomy" performed yesterday.

As I recall last year when Bud had his meniscus repaired, there were two options: 1) repair the meniscus and let it heal, which takes around 3 months, or 2) snip out the damaged meniscus and let it heal, which takes about 1 month.

A meniscectomy sounds like snipping to me, so maybe Bud will be back sooner than later. They have not released a time-table as of yet...

Tim, you are right about the procedure bud had last year. the idea was that he would have a healthier knee going forward. Sounds like it didn't work out that way.

Hopefully this doesn't hurt him in the future.

Hoping it's 4-6 weeks to complete knee health

Hmmm Westbrook was just scoped, too, and will miss the first 4 to 6 weeks of the season. Ouch for OKC! (who we play 2nd game of the season)

I'll take that trade all day, Tim...we lose Bud, they lose Westbrook! The OKC game was a toss up before the Westbrook news, but now I see our squad going into New York 2-0!
