The only thing that matters is that Playoffs Rondo shows up in the postseason because that guy is ridiculously good. 17/12/7/2.4 in his last run. 14/9/6/2 overall in his career.

1. Boston doesn't care if it wins or not. Dallas is playing to win, so it's attractive for veterans who want to win.
2. There's no guarantee Dallas gets Rondo for more than 55 games.
3. Rondo (by some reports) wanted out of Boston. And, he's been characterized as being "difficult" in the past when he's not happy.
4. Rondo is like Rubio. He does some things very very well. And, really struggles at other stuff. That hurts his overall value.
5. Damn. The West is so good. And so much fun (even if you're a Wolves fan looking up at all these teams)

Dallas was already good, but this could make them really great if everything clicks. As long as Monta can deal without having the ball in his hands as much, and as long as there aren't any chemistry problems, I expect they'll be very good after an adjustment period of a few weeks. The thing is, Jameer Nelson wasn't a bad PG, although he wasn't playing great this year, so they are losing a pretty decent player who could definitely stretch the floor better than Rondo. My guess is they'll want to try to pick up a 3 point specialist somehow as well to address that a bit.

But man, Rondo tossing alley-oops to Chandler (remember Chandler with CP3?), kickouts to Dirk, Parsons, and Harris, and hitting Monta cutting to the basket is going to be fun to watch.
