I brought up in another post, but I would be interested in a Brewer for Henson deal. We could use another defensive minded big that can rebound. Henson is a bit slight in frame, but he certainly can rebound and block shots. Seems a solid deal for both teams in the wake of Parker injury.

From afar (fantasy basketball purposes), I thought Henson did well when given minutes last season.

He was a 15/10/2 guy in December last season in 33 minutes... before he was injured. When he returned, something was different... whether it was his role or his health and he wasn't as productive.

He's on a relatively cheap contract next season ($2.9M). I see him as a 10/6/1 guy in 20 minutes sort of player... I'd say he's worth a flier. (But is Brewer to the Bucks worth it for them?)

And the contracts still don't quite match up well enough, right?

I would be ll over that trade. Does anyone else think the Rondo trade sets the market value of Brewer to a degree?

Am I the only one that isn't gonna miss Brewer?

Nice guy, infectious energy, highlight plays, yeah. Here's the bottom line: he was brought back here to do 2 things: play defense and hit the corner three. He did neither particularly well. No amount of smiles can change the results. I wish Brewer well, but we need guys to come in and do their jobs well. I want the team's positive energy to come from winning games, simple and plain.

According to Zgoda, brewer told him he never asked for a trade. Not Flip comes out and says brewer asked for a trade, and told him he wouldn't be picking up his player option.

Somebody's not being truthful!

I am pretty certain he asked for a trade. I am fine with that. I am even more fine if he said he wouldn't pick up his option to make it happen.
