Yes, Brewer will come back down to earth SJM, but at a pure emotional level, it is such a tragicomedy watching him go light it up in Houston after such futility here. The other contrast is how quickly he became a key part of their rotation.
Which brings me to your Troy Daniels comment.....Why the hell is it taking Flip so damn long to get him into the regular rotation? My God, the guy does the one thing, other than defense. that this team needs most: Shoots 3's!!!!

I am particularly puzzled by this as well Q. Considering how much Flip looks to the offensive end, you would think Daniels would have gotten minutes. Maybe it is due to him having to cut Bud's minutes to get time for Daniels.
Re: We dumped Corey Brewer
Interesting that Cory scored 25 pts in 24 min and was still a minus 6.

But the Wolves? Really?
Who?
Maybe not really excelling but at least it seems that shooters somehow forgot how to shoot while they are playing for Minnesota and then recover next season with new team and start shooting treys with much better accuracy:
Webster: 11-12 in Minnesota 3P% of 33.9% and next season with Washington 42.2% with double amount of 3P attempts per game
Ellington: 11-12 in Minnesota 3P% of 32.4% and next season with Memphis/ Cleveland 39.2% with 50% more 3P attempts per game
Anthony Tolliver: 11-12 in Minnesota 3P% of 24.8% and next season with Atlanta 33.8% and last season with Charlotte with 41.3% with double amount of 3P attempts per game
Mike Miller: 08-09 in Minnesota 3P% of 37.8% and next season with Washington 48.0% (2nd in whole league)
For some players like Randy Foye and Gerald Green it has taken little longer to have their career years from 3p-land but both players have had later a year with top 10 amount of 3P made with better than 40% 3-point accuracy..
Even lowly Wesley Johnson has been slowly improving after horrible seasons in Minnesota and is currently shooting 3P% of 37.6 and TS% of 53.1.
Last year was maybe worst year. There was totally 63 players with more than 100 made three pointers and six of those (Green, Foye, Webster, Miller, Tolliver and Johnson) were former Wolves players. (actually it was 8 if you count Ray Allen and Trey Burke). Out of those 6 players only Johnson and Foye shot worse than Wolves best 3P shooter Martin and even they were quite close. 38.0 and 36.9% vs 38.7%.

It's becoming more and more obvious what the problem is. The weather. It's not just less appealing, it makes you shoot worse!
