I disagree that Bazz was struggling until the Utah game. Disregarding his 30-point night against Utah, he was averaging 17.6 points on 46.7% from the field, 50% from three and 81.3% from the line. This while grabbing just under 6 boards a game and dishing out 2 assists a game. He had a couple less then ideal efficiency games in a row, but in his defense, he's being game-planned as our top scorer. Everyone knows he's "our guy" right now. Then he turned around and had a big night.

I think we're all happy to see his three ball falling. That makes him so much more dangerous than he already was. And might I say that he's shooting that with confidence. Never hesitation on his pulls.

Yes, his game against Boston was very efficient, but then he had a string of four games in a row which were a bit iffy. Not that I expect the guy to shoot 50+% every night. I just want to see how this goes over a 20+ game time span.

Good point on Bazz being game-planned around. One trend that is interesting is whether starting Bazz is at least somewhat responsible for Wiggins' mini-breakout. The weaker wing defender is usually going to guard Wiggins now that Bazz has replaced Brewer in the starting lineup. Tonight my guess is McLemore guards him, who he should be able to post up on.

This is exactly why I like Bazz and Wiggins starting together. Pick your poison. Moving forward they are a matchup nightmare and their games can really compliment each other provided there is a true point their to direct their positioning.

Doper, what was interesting was how Sacramento actually had to adjust. They put Gay at SG and Derrick Williams at SF once it became clear that McLemore couldn't match up with either guy. How often do we see other teams actually adjusting to our lineup instead of the other way around? Alas, we won the battle but not the game.

We just don't have the horses to finish it off. Too many injuries. This Pek thing really bothers me. He was such a force when healthy. I think Bazz and Wiggins are keepers for sure. I pray Rubio and Pek can find a way to stay healthy but it doesn't look good so far.
