Yeah, the Bennett link works fine for me (it is an impressive video, isn't it bleed), but the Lavine link monster provided doesn't link to a similar video for me. I'm curious to see what draftexpress listed for Zach's weaknesses.
Not sure what's going on but they list decision making, half court play, defense, and toughness as the weaknesses. Maybe turn your computer on and off again. :)
Didn't Flip throw out some absurd stat that Lavine never got beat off the dribble or only a handful of times? I recall something along that line and laughed while watching some video of him that he typically did stay in front just didn't offer much resistance!
USA Today's @JeffZillgitt reports Greg Monroe will play out this season w/Pistons on $5.5M qualifying offer & become unrestricted FA in 2015
If true that would make next summer more interesting.
Monroe's a center. He can play power forward in spurts, but I don't see why we'd pursue him, which is what I think you're getting at.
No I just meant adding a big name to next year's FA pool. I agree I think he is a C or at the very least a C/PF but plays mostly at C. Monroe is nice player he needs the right fit next to him.
I can already see a team like NO making a run at him. Holliday/Evans/AD/Monroe would be a solid big 4. I don't know if they could get the salary for him, but Asik is at least 8 million off the cap. Gordon becomes an expiring that summer so maybe they could find a team to take him on.

I could see Phil Jackson scooping him up. I think he'd be a good fit for the triangle. They'll have plenty of cap to do so as well.

Good call. I can see him being a younger Pau Gasol for them.
While Monroe was forced into playing center a couple years ago, this last season he started at PF 81 games, with Drummond at C those 81 games. His game, IMO, is clearly that of a PF in that he is not the rugged defender you look for at Center. I would love to add Monroe next season as our long-term answer at PF. He is a very skilled player that rebounds well, passes well and can score in the post and mid-range very well. Seems a solid fit with either Pek or Dieng playing center.

Yea he played PF, but it's not like the Pistons were any good in that set up or anything. Smith-Monroe-Drummond is a hell of a lot of talent, but they sucked because they weren't in their right roles
