I have to believe that, as a former point guard himself, Flip doesn't see Bledsoe as a PG...very poor assist to turnover ratio. But Bledsoe is viable next to Rubio as a SG on offense and PG on defense, since Rubio has the length to guard most SG's. So the next question is what Flip wants to give up in return. I see two likely strategies:
1) Free up time for Dieng: In this scenario, Flip deals Pek and JJ for Bledsoe. Dieng moves into the starting lineup, and Martin moves into a better role as instant offense off the bench.
2) Dump Martin's contract. If this is the goal, I see Flip offering Martin, Bud and JJ for Bledsoe.
I guess I would be okay with either scenario, although not wildly so, but I prefer number 1. I just don't see Pek and Dieng playing together much, and I think Dieng showed at the end of last year and in FIBA that he is ready to be a starting center. A starting lineup of Rubio, Bledsoe, Wiggins, Young and Dieng is unbelievably athletic, and very strong defensively. Dieng's ability to protect the rim makes him a much better pairing with Young, and I like Martin in a bench role where his defense won't hurt us too much. And it gives a very young LaVine a couple years to adjust to the NBA. I have been an advocate of dealing Pek for a good starting 2-way shooting guard since last spring, and perhaps this is the best deal we can get for Pek.
I don't think Phoenix is likely to match, which makes me wonder if Flip is overpaying...the Suns have to know more about Bledsoe than he does.

First off, Bledsoe has to accept the wolves offer, so I hate to say it if Bledsoe wants to be in Minnesota it is for the max.
