Seems to me that great players dont need extra incentive to win, no one person to motive them. Players are Playing for themselves. Dont kid urselves. They only fall back on their coaches when shit goes sour. At no point did I read Ricky taking responsibility upon himself for the teams woes when in fact his shooting was a factor. A true team player takes responsibility for his own flaws without calling on anyone elses. Ricky hasnt performed to the degree to have his opinions matter.

I think you underestimate the importance of the coach in pro basketball. Otherwise, how can you possibly explain the enormous improvement of the Phoenix Suns this year...it's not like they went out and got a bunch of elite free agents. It was all Hornacek. Teams tend to reflect the personality of their coaches, and I would argue that Phoenix and Minnesota are two great examples of this...one good and one bad.
