They already made a deal to move AsiK, so they only have around 42-43 mil on the cap after they dump their unguaranteed deals and Lin.

Cap is 63.2 million and their deal pays him 22 a year so there is still a couple million they have to clear to offer him that deal. Hence needing to clear a Donatas or Jones to officially open the space to offer the max. They still have open roster spots that have minimum salary cap holds up to 12 or 13 players as well.

How ironic would it be if we acquired Parsons and Danatas Monieiujas in a trade for Love. Both guys who we drafted and sold for next to nothing.

The ghost of David Kahn still haunts us!

Honestly it would be pretty sickening. I hope Flip's picks the past 2 drafts show something this year and we can keep Love and start building something every fan here wants.

Might as well give us Terrance Jones as well who I believe was drafted with the pick we traded to Houston for Budinger.

But a player's value varies depending on the team and the team's circumstances -- the player's importance to that team and how well the player fits on that team, the availability of other comparable FAs to fit that precise need as well or better..
But yet you say KMartin is overpaid?lol

Yeah.. that's obviously option 1 IF he's even considering coming back if the team was winning.
