MIN: Parsons (S/T, $10M-$12M per), Jones, 2015 Pelicans 1st, 2016 Rockets 1st and Capela's draft rights.
HOU: Love, Brewer
Ideally, we'd also still go for a trade with New Orleans to acquire Eric Gordon.
MIN: Gordon
NO: Martin, Budinger
We'd still need a backup PF and SG, which can be filled via free agency. Two of the more attractive options that should be cheap are Jodie Meeks (2 yr, $6M) and DeJaun Blair (2 yr, $3M). An upgrade at backup PG is needed, in my opinion, but if Flip's unable to trade Barea, I could see him keeping him through his last year as others have said.
PG: Rubio/Barea/Shved
SG: Gordon/Meeks/LaVine
SF: Parsons/Robinson/Muhammad
PF: Jones/Blair
C: Pekovic/Dieng/Turiaf
Bolded = Players who would be in the rotation.
Leftover assets following these two trades: 2015 NO 1st, 2016 HOU 1st, Capela's draft rights (Euro stash).
After the Rockets trade, I'd look to do Pek Mbah for Waiters Bennett and Varejao (Future first?)
Clears cap space for Cleveland to sign some free agents and we can get rid of Varejao and Bennett next year if Bennett doesn't improve
Rubio Lavine
Gordon Waiters Lavine
Parsons Bazz Robinson
Bennett Vet
Dieng Varejao Turiaf
In the summer of 2016 even if we gave Rubio Waiters Parsons around 30 million, we'd have about 30 million in cap space
