This is the opportune time to trade Love. If we can get a top 5 pick in this year's draft plus some other goodies, we need to do it. If we don't trade Love, he walks (ok I'm only 98.4 % certain he does) and we only get something back if we do a sign and trade. I also am not sold on Love being a franchise player that you can build a title team around. Despite his amazing stats, he lacks athleticism, can't create his own shot or play defense. We need to draft a potential franchise player and what better draft to be armed with a top five pick than this one.

No coincidence. I like the way Ricky plays--unselfish team oriented ball.

This core has been together for 1 season and was around .500 with almost no bench. It could be the same story next year, but I think this core needs more time before we blow it up. This team could end up like how the Pacers turned out if they make some savy moves. You don't always have to make be sexy moves to become a contender. Of course as I say that the Pacers are losing to the Hawks. LOL Also to the people last offseason that were wanting Carroll they were right I hadn't followed his season and I saw he was starting and looked up his stats and they were very nice. Congrats to him and props to the people on this board that were rally wanting him.

Trading Love is not a good idea. Its really unlikely we get a player thats as good as him back. Its amazing how people are willing to let go one of the best scorers are rebounders in the game. Yes he still isn't that good on defense, but damn the guy can play ball. Dieng may be the answer for interior defense this team has needed since KG was traded. Lets see how things play out. Bazz was even showing some life towards the end of the season. I don't want to sound too homerish or positive, but rebuilding makes little sense to me after we just finished a pretty decent season for the first time in a decade.

Fair point Alex. Doubtful we'll ever be perennial championship contenders (the man wants to keep us down). However, I think this team can make a run in the next couple years for 1 title.
