Sad finish to the season. Not sure why Gorgui didn't play in the OT's. At the very least it makes sense to have him out there for the jump ball (we lost them both).
But the real culprit tonight I thought was Love mailing it in for about 3.5 quarters. His stats look good but he was a revolving door on defense. For a guy who plays as physical as he does he sure has no idea how to take a foul to stop an easy two points. At the very least he needs to put his hands up more.
Well there was some positives down the stretch, but overall, good riddance to this season.

Or 2 of the guys that got them back in the game. Led the team in +/-. Everything doesn't have to be a knock on Adelman
I can understand playing DC tonight, but there are two things that I won't miss. Coaches always talk about valuing each possession, but yet we gave away the tip in both OT's by not having Dieng out there at the start. The other issue I have is not making substitutions late in the game and OT's. Dieng didn't have it offensively but then either did DC in the OT. Why not have Dieng in on D when teams are calling timeouts after each possession.

Adelman's sounding like a thirteen year old girl with all the post-game whining and bitching.

I also wont' miss the twenty plus foot jumpshots in every late game situation. Do we every run a play that gets us going to the basket in those situations?
I am surprised we even had a chance to win at the end considering the lack of effort from Love, and Ricky's horrible shooting again. I am wondering why Ricky went back to the line drive shooting over the last five or so games. He had a nice arc on his shot and was making a nice % and then regressed back to his old style.

Regarding rubios jumper, yeah he pretty much revert back to his flat shot where he is aiming the ball to the basket and not shooting it with arch. It comes down to repetition i believe. Rubio knows exactly how he should shoot it but everytime he gets tired or pressured, he reverts back to his old linedrive shot that he has shot for so many years. Thats his instinct and it would be difficult but not impossible to change. And rubio neds to change his shot permanently he were to be a top tier pg in the league.

Farewell Tired Rick. You've had a long year, with all your complaining and whining. Time for some rest. We had high hopes for you when you signed on a few years ago. But we're used to disappointment as Wolves fans. We're the Cubs of the NBA-there's always next year.
