We gave up 128 pts tonight!

If the game was a minute longer we would have lost.

We had a 21 pt lead with 6 minutes left, and almost gave it away.

Looks like the same team that can close out to me.

Love just doesn't have the length to recover and either challenge the jump shot or get back in time to the roller (Faried in this case).

I'd be all for sprinkling in a bit more time for Dieng in place of Cunningham. I really think this kid will be a game-changer defensively some day, and he's not far from it right now. You simply can't guard these quick PGs like Lawson, Isiah Thomas, etc. without bigs that can hedge and either challenge the mid-range jumper or recover back to their man to protect the rim.

I love me some Ronny. I think he was a terrific signing by Flip and one that I didn't expect to be so effective. As a defensive/rebounding big off the bench, he's big time for us. I was just poking more fun at a comment from "crazysauce" where he said Turiaf was more valuable than Pekovic.

Wait, wait. As dumb as it sounds, you'd think the explanation was even better. Nope. Just as piss-poor.

Understood Cam, it's just silly. I've given Flip a hard time, but I think the Turiaf signing and Dieng pick were two good moves. Both are just perfect compliments to Pek and Love because they offer some length and shot blocking. And I really do believe Dieng could be a force some day. It's just too bad Turiaf has been hurt so much and Adelman is bringing Dieng along so slowly.

Don't sugar coat it Q. Dieng should have taken half of the minutes Dante played tonight. Dieng looked fantastic in the few minutes he played tonight, and we obviously needed his defense down the stretch.

I'll co-sign with that. Nothing to disagree with here.

Why don't folks just for a minute extract themselves from their entrenched opinions - including me - and just fucking enjoy the win! Sheesh!

Did you watch the end of the game? That was ridiculous lights outs 3 ball shooting by Denver and they deserve all the credit

Good win tonight.....Love had another absurd night on the boards (19). not to mention his 33 points. Pek played a super solid 24 minutes with 16 efficient points and 9 boards. Brewer was Brewer, with 16 efficient points and some good D and some boneheaded play.

As frustrating as JJ is much of the time, his play was critical to our win tonight. He actually got to the line good bit tonight, and did ok at making up for Rubio having a challenging night. Martin had a rough game except the last 3 minutes, where he was the unquestioned hero making 8 FTs in a row and assisting our only basket in the last 3 minutes of the game.

Dieng played very good 4 minutes. Shabazz did not shoot well, but seems to have a pretty positive impact on the game. 12 minutes, 3 boards, 1 steal and 7 points on 8 possessions. Not a great stat line, but we have had worse bench players than him this year. Bud's shot wasn't falling, but he made himself useful with 3 boards and a steal in 13 minutes.

One thing that assisted with our bench's +/- tonight was that they played 75 minutes total and only had 2 (both were JJs) TOs (vs 5 steals). It is easier to win when you are playing close to mistake free ball.

Very good team win. Let's hope that we can keep this up at home.

Exactly. The Wolves weren't that bad at the end of the game tonight. Home teams make runs in the NBA (Washington did the same thing against Memphis) and Denver was unconscious the last three minutes...hitting everything despite having a hand in their face. Good teams hold on when an inferior home team is making a run, and that's what the Wolves did tonight.

Great road trip! Unfortunately Memphis won a game they were supposed to lose tonight, so I'm now projecting a 3-way tie for the 8th spot...I'm not going to take the time to review the tie-breaking rules yet. Now we need to take care of business and win all the games coming up in which we will be favored (almost all of them in the near future). It's crunch time and there is no margin for error if we want to make the playoffs.

LST, At this point, all we can do is just keep on winning. I think this ultimately is going to come down to the head-to-head matchups. We need to man up and beat Memphis, Dallas, and Phoenix when we play them. Period. End of story.
