Thanks bleedspeed. Mackey sees the two things that most of us on this board are so painfully aware of also. Adelman's poor choices created a lost season for the Wolves that didn't have to be lost.

My only gripe with this is he uses On/Off numbers to say Rubio is better than Barea. That really isn't fair considering Rubio plays with Love/Pek/Martin/Brewer and Barea plays with a D-League caliber bench.

I mean, Rubio is better than Barea, but that's not a good stat to prove it.

Agree....that is a very poor way to prove that point

It might not be the best method for comparison because other factors come into play but I think it was the simplest method that gets to main point that despite his shooting everyone still plays better with Rubio than they do with Barea.

Looking at 5 man units on 82 games might have been the better option. Given they're playing with the starters: Martin, Brewer, Love, and Pek are the other 4 on the court, the eFG% with Rubio is 47% and with Barea it is 40%.

Yes, Rage, I think that you method for proving his point is far more effective.
