I'm pretty pissed off on how this was all scheduled by the NBA. So we get an off day between games in Utah where no travel was required, but then have to play a back to back where the start time is less than 24 hours from the prior game's tip off (due to losing an hour coming back east) and they have to travel over a 1/3 of the country to get home? I mean, WTF!? We should have played the 2nd Utah game on Sunday instead of Monday.
I know some of the reason why it’s shitty this week is the boys state tournament. But yes you are right it’s dumb

No Klunker against Denver in my forecast, so we still sit in third with 54 wins. But we have a good chance of an Anti-Klunker against a Cavs team that will be missing Mitchell, and that would bring us to within one game of OkC. We're hanging in there without KAT.

So you have the Cleveland game as a loss for the Wolves (going off your anti-klunker comment)? That's interesting since it's being played at home with three days of rest.

Q, when I recalibrated a week ago for the KAT loss, I surprisingly only had to change 2 forecasted wins to losses...the home games this week against Denver and Cleveland. So I originally had the Cavs game as a win, but changed it to a loss a week ago. But now with the injury to Donovan Mitchell, I think we might get an anti-K win this Friday.

I anticipate we will win the next 3 games. If so, I'm still at 57 wins. Subtract 1 for any game we lose.

Pelicans lost like they were supposed to, but the Kings come up with a klunker!

Maybe the Mavs and Nuggets can follow suit!

Mmmm, kind of wouldn't mind playing Sacramento in the first round, so I probably would have been OK with both teams winning in this case and solidifying their current positions in 5th and 6th place, as I see us probably ended up at #3.

I don't know if you saw, but Huerter looks to be out for the season with a dislocated shoulder and torn labrum. I think the Mavs will likely emerge as the 6th seed. But dang, all three of them (Kings, Mavs and Suns) are tied at 29 losses for the 6th seed. Which means two of them will be in the play-in along with the Lakers and Warriors. Won't that be fun!

Bad timing for Huerter to get hurt! He's supposed to help them secure the 6th seed, and THEN get hurt just before the playoffs against us. Now it looks increasingly likely we'll end up playing Phoenix or Dallas in the 1st round. Ugh.
