Re: Playoffs predictor
I've still got the Wolves with 57 with a chance to project to 58 with a win Friday night.
Re: Playoffs predictor
What a total disaster. The East just rolls over night after night to every Western Conference team....except the Wolves! Of course SGA hits a last second shot to beat the Knicks and of course Denver crushes Cleveland. You have to wonder if Boston is really a favorite to win the NBA Finals given the B-squad East teams they are playing most nights.
Re: Playoffs predictor
The 1-3 seeding is still way up in the air. But arguments can be made for which seed will have the toughest matchup! The #1 seed will likely get whoever wins the first play-in game, most likely between the Kings and Lakers. And the #2 seed probably gets the hottest team between the Warriors and Suns.
But the #3 seed will get the weakest team between the Mavericks and Pelicans. The Pelicans sans Ingram could arguably be the more favorable matchup.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. The win in Denver gave us some hope of moving up from third place, but yesterday's loss brought the likely back into play...3rd place seems close to inevitable. Meanwhile, OkC had an anti-K to move them into first place in my forecast. SGA's return plus Murray's injury has the Thunder now in the driver's seat.
Thunder: 57 (tiebreaker over Denver)
Nuggets: 57
Wolves: 55
Clippers: 53

Re: Playoffs predictor
No change since Monday, WF...I still have us third 2 games behind OkC and Denver. We have a couple Anti-Klunker chances coming up though in Phoenix and LA. And then the big one in Denver, of course.

Re: Playoffs predictor
I agree that's probably too pessimistic, kek. I think the next three road games (Suns, Lakers and Nuggets) are going to be very difficult...pretty sure we won't be favored in any of them. And I changed the last home game against the Suns to a loss after KAT went down, but I now think we will be favored to win that game. Not going to change my spreadsheet, but yeah...probably 3-3 down the stretch. But a 4-2 could give us the #1 seed.kekgeek wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 9:12 amYou really think we’re going 2-4 in our last 6 games?
Re: Playoffs predictor
I think we will be playing hard until the end. The competitiveness of this team has really impressed me this year. We keep looking to these potential tough stretches and the keep over achieving. I think we can get first.
