So the moral of the story is that Glen is too cheap to have his own jet?

Two weeks? The rest of the playoffs? At one point do you draw the line? At some point you have to also be there for your other family and teammates too. If I were in his position I would play.
Some of his teammates are gonna be faced with similar situations and might not wanna hear from other teammates if they choose to do the same thing. NAW just had a child a month ago. Jaden's girl is gonna have a baby soon. Ant had a child this year and left in the middle of the game!!!! KAT missed a game for the death of a friend. Life stuff happens.

Also, knowing that, Rudy made it clear he was gonna be there for the baby. Since he's trying to make it back, he's trying to accomplish both. If he's late, then this team gotta hold it down. Simple as that.

Ha, great find, jester! Probably one of Glen's jets, huh?

It may be that this entire thing was orchestrated from the start. Rudy arranging to have mama induced this morning and also arranging for transportation with Glen. Who knows, but it looks like Rudy may have taken care of both his family and his stakeholders on this one if it all works out.

And it may turn out to be a positive for the Wolves. I can only speak from my experience, but I was so sky high after the birth of my first that I could have completed my first successful dunk! Rudy may be a little tired, but he also may have a little extra adrenaline going. But again, who knows if he makes it, and in what kind of condition he'll be in if he does. The Vegas line moved up to 6 1/2 when he was listed as questionable, and hasn't come back yet.
The plane in Jester's link is owned by NetJets, which allows for fractional ownership and subscriptions to use a private jet for those that don't want to have one or may not need one all to themselves. If you look at the flight record of that particular jet, it did not make a trip from Denver to Minneapolis, so I don't think it's literally Glen's jet. However, Glen or one of the other owners may have a subscription with NetJets and I believe there was a different NetJets plane that indeed DID make the trip from Broomfield to MSP on Sunday. So this could very well be Rudy's return flight! We can all follow it on FlightAware!
Ha, this is terrific intrigue! Kind of reminds me of the college kid who annoys Elon Musk by tracking his jet and tweeting his location!

Dammit, the flight keeps getting delayed. High winds in the region are delaying/canceling flights. This will be a white-knuckler for all involved!

Give him a chute and a push. There are a lot of parking areas around the arena to land in.

In all seriousness, the guy makes close to 40 mil a year of fans money. He owes it to them to show up. I could give some leeway if the kid wasn't born yet, but this could be the only chance he gets at a title (along with his teammates and fans).

Tonight doesn't determine whether he wins a title or not.

If his teammates are fine with it and they are, then his teammates gotta hold it down for him. They owe that to Rudy.

I'm torn on this. I was in the delivery room for all 3 of my girls. But if I had an event to attend of this magnitude, my wife would have insisted I go to the event instead of being in the delivery room. She would have made the choice, not I.

I share the sentiment and believe my wife would have done the same. That being said I can't blame a wife for insisting her husband be there regardless of income or profession.
