Mikal Bridges to NYK for FOUR unprotected 1st, another protected 1st, a pick swap, a second rounder and Bojan Bogdanovic.
And they think we overpaid for Rudy Gobert.
They're throwing a parade in NY for this. Knicks got their guy and are clear contenders in the East.
Their team and that's with them possibly losing Hartenstein as a result.
Pels:
Murray
McCollum
Herb Jones
Tre Murphy
Ingram
Zion
Pels are looking solid. One of the above will either be traded or benched. Clippers could be in big trouble as they appear to be the weakest playoff team in the West, especially if PG leaves, but even if he stays, their core is getting old and injury prone.
I predict three West teams that are definitely going to tank by break: Portland, Utah and Spurs. I know some think Spurs will contend this year, but that won't happen. Spurs are still building out their core and next year's draft is supposedly stronger.
Warriors and Clips in the West have old cores and I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them throws in the towel by break and starts their rebuild. Suns maybe are a year or two away from throwing in towel but if they have a rough start and could get a bounty for Durant at the deadline, there's a chance it starts sooner.
