Ha! I think we sort of bumbled into a win there....or the Clippers out-bumbled us.
I will give the team props for playing great defense. I thought everyone was pretty locked in on that end. Of course it helped that the Clippers were without Norman Powell.
The offense though....what a tragi-comedy.

I feel like a lot of the blame has gone Randles way since the trade but right now Mike Conley and Jaden and Donte are all shooting CAREER lows in fg percentage. Conley has looked like a shell of himself. I am not a big fan of Randle and his not making any effort on defense and being a black hole on offense, but we are playing an 8 man rotation and 3 of those guys are shooting career lows? Not only that Conley just looks old as hell all of a sudden. Honestly think this may be his last year.
Our future has been dealt and we are in cap hell. We are totally fucked. We have no pg and an going to be quickly declining center we just gave some more money and Jaden looks like another albatross of a contract. This is literally KG all over again. One season to the wcf and them it all goes to shit and we know how that ended.
I remember when we would get a lot of our picks back when we traded kat or rudy. The KAT trade will be the final dagger as we got essentially nothing for him.

Abe's Stupid ESPN recording instead of Jim Pete and Grady DVR Review:
- I have all Timberwolves games preset... it recorded the ESPN feed (20 minutes late) for some reason. That was... umm... disappointing.
- 25 assists... that's almost league average! 21 TOs is significantly higher than league average.
- Reid's 3-minute surge of energy was a big part of this very ugly win. The two blocks and the dive tip to Divencezo for the lucky banked three. I wonder if Reid is one of the guys in his feelings. The Wolves downgraded at the 4 from Towns to Randle. But Reid is still on the pine and Randle seems to be granted "automatic finishing privileges no matter what." I'm sure Reid sees the lazy defense and the other issues with Randle this season.
- Jaden McDaniels had a better game tonight. But it seemed like he was the one who was squeezed for minutes. Only 25 minutes without foul trouble.
- Halfway decent close for Edwards, but he looked TIRED. Maybe it was the defensive burst earlier in the 4th.
- Caretaker Mike hit double figures! But he's still just a guy. Sadly, this squad needs that type of player out there right now. I know Tyus Jones is on an under-the-table future deal contract with Phoenix... but he's such an upgrade over Conley right now that it would be nice to have him home.
- This is my annual "WTF... Batum kills the Wolves every time!" blurb in a DVR Review. He used to defend Towns so well and has hit many timely threes over the years vs. the Wolves.
- Finch seems willing to sink or swim with this 8-man lineup... no matter what.
- Yet another game the Wolves barely won vs. a team missing at least one key player while being completely healthy themselves. Nothing is fixed after this game. They didn't play well.
- Van Gundy looks older on the sidelines than he did as a broadcaster for some reason.
- A win is a win. I guess.
