Love seeing San Antonio lose @ Charlotte on a last-second shot by Miles Bridges!
I know San Antonio is pretty far down the pecking order in the West right now, but a lot of pundits have been fawning over the Wemby/Fox pairing, so a dejecting loss to a lowly Eastern Conference team is good to see!

Not what I wanted to see for the Wolves playoff positioning but it was kinda funny to see the Mavs beat Boston tonight.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:52 pm Love seeing San Antonio lose @ Charlotte on a last-second shot by Miles Bridges!

Good news and bad news on the Detroit Pistons tonight. The good news is the Pistons won, and if the season ended today, the Wolves would get Detroit’s pick at #15 or #16. And they won even though their star, Cunningham, was out with an ankle sprain, which of course is the bad news. Let’s hope the sprain isn’t bad and that Cunningham is back in action soon.
Note that Malik Beasley had 36 points for the Pistons tonight. So he’s still helping the Wolves.

Nah it's good for me to own up to it. It's easy to think about all the guys I was right about. Hey he lasted longer on an NBA roster than some other guards that were discussed on this forum for a selection at the end of the first etc. To be clear I don't think Moore is any better than those guys and hasn't been for a couple years. Meanwhile they guy we apparently really should have picked was Max Christie who the Lakers selected at #35.

Well, there's a bit of a break for the Wolves next week (I didn't realize he had already been sidelined):
Shams Charania @ShamsCharania
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will be sidelined through the next week due to a mild calf strain and will miss the NBA All-Star Game next Sunday, sources tell ESPN. Antetokounmpo, out since Feb. 2, is expected to return to action shortly after All-Star break.

That's a big break. That was a winnable game to begin with, but now even more so. However, we know that the Wolves don't always cooperate when it comes to what we think as winnable games.60WinTim wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2025 11:12 am Well, there's a bit of a break for the Wolves next week (I didn't realize he had already been sidelined):

Love to watch him play, but not necessarily against us! Good news...a 4-4 record through the Gauntlet is still a huge challenge, but this makes it a bit more possible. Win this one, 1 out of the 3 Thunder games, and upset LA, and we have our 4 wins. OK. maybe 3-5 is more realistic.

Apparently the Mavericks reached out to the Wolves and attempted to trade Luka for Ant. They also reached out on Giannis. I would have made the deal if i was TC.

That does reflect your opinion on ANT. I don't think it would have been well received by most Wolves' fans...Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 3:08 pm Apparently the Mavericks reached out to the Wolves and attempted to trade Luka for Ant.
