Watching the Lakers complain about every non call is quite satisfying.

What do you want? More than a 200 FTA differential advantage every season than the 2nd most team?

Randle having a quietly efficient game. Like him in the 2nd action playing off Ant versus the other way around.

Q-is-here wrote: Fri Apr 25, 2025 10:05 pm Well, I'm going to credit the Lakers here. Reaves and LeBron playing legit great games and even an out-of-shape and sick Doncic can still make some H-O-R-S-E shots out there.
Yeah, LeBron and Reeves have really picked up Luka. We need a lot more from Ant to win this critical game. He's such an amazing offensive force, but can you imagine how good he would be if he learned to move without the ball? I saw him do it once in the first half, and DiVo found him for an easy bucket. He could be a 35 PPG scorer if he realized he has a lot of willing passers who will get him looks.

But the bigger problem is our bench shooting again...2 for 10 on 3's for what is supposed to be our strength.
Not sure Ant is ever going to learn to play the type of basketball most purists like - off ball movement, quick passes, precise reads, etc. I always go back to the Celtics spread offense and how they basically just let their perimeter guys (mostly Tatum and Brown, but White and Holiday too at times) find a weak match up and just isolate them with no one in the paint to get in their way (at least none of their own guys). It simplifies things.
So true, Q. I'm still holding out hope that Ant can learn how easy scoring can be when you let your teammates set you up. In the last minute he missed a trey when he isolated against two defenders, and then drained a wide open trey when Mike found him. He's gonna learn...maybe not in these playoffs though!
