Disappointed. If you can't get a late first why trade? Just take Fleming who was projected as a 1st if you can't get one. And if you are negotiating you wait up until the end to do deal as then teams become desperate.

I like it.WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 5:59 pm Depending on what future 2's they are, not mad at it.
Penda could make it there, or we grab a ball handler.
Re: Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread
Does TC trade 36 for 2 more future 2nds. I could see one more trade
Re: Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread
Oh well, TC decided Fleming’s skills, et al, did not fit the Wolves needs and/or culture.kekgeek wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 5:58 pm The Minnesota Timberwolves are trading the first pick in tonight’s NBA draft -- No. 31 -- to the Phoenix Suns for No. 36 and two future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Suns continue rebuild by moving up to 31 and 41 in draft -- send out 36, 52, 59 and two future seconds.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps trading back and accumulates 13 or 14 future 2nd rounders…

Re: Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread
TC and his staff know Fleming better than we do. There are reasons a player with Fleming’s physical attributes and college production fall into the second round. I like getting a couple future second round picks to add a bit to our otherwise pretty barren draft cupboard. I hope at least one of them is in 2027 when we have no picks. We can still get a talented prospect at #36.kekgeek wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 5:58 pm The Minnesota Timberwolves are trading the first pick in tonight’s NBA draft -- No. 31 -- to the Phoenix Suns for No. 36 and two future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. the unprotected first talk is pretty much off the table unless Joe Dumars gets to a phoneLipoli390 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 6:11 pmWouldn’t surprise me. The Wolves trade pick No. 31 for pick No. 36, a '26 2nd (lesser of DEN/GSW) and a '32 2nd (better of PHX/HOU), per source.
