Valaciunas decided he wants to go overseas. I wonder where that leaves Saric, if the trade still happens.

Denver would probably be happy for it to still go through if the salary was eliminated. Saric didn't fit there for whatever reason so just dumping him woukd have been great. Jonas would have been a pretty nice get for them so if he leaves that's gonna ding their A+ offseason grade.

All true, monster. And now they're rumored to possibly use the cap space to sign Al Horford, which would really make them a lot better. As the East continues to fade relative to the much stronger west, it's not surprising that the only 3 teams he's looking at are in the west. Even at 39, he can be a formidable big man off the bench.

Denver should be a better team than last season. And let's remember... they finished ahead of Minnesota and took OKC to 7 games.

Cam Johnson should fit in well. Bruce Brown helps with depth. And either Jonas/Horford is a big step up from the corpses of Deeandre Jordan and Saric. Even if they get neither of those guys, I expect them to be better.

If Wolves fans get to talk about internal development and improvement... so do other teams.

Christian Braun is turning into a good player. He's improved significantly in each of his first three seasons... which in basketball history... indicates another jump is ahead of him.

He shot 58% from the floor last season... including 40% on threes. His scoring has basically doubled in each of his first three years, reaching 15.4 ppg last season. Will he reach close to 20 ppg without Westbrook and Porter shooting more than him? Even a guy like Julian Strawther (a lesser, flawed player) showed significant improvement last year as a 22 year old. He should be better, too.

Most importantly though... the Nuggets still have the best player in the world. And as noted... somehow... he seems to be getting better and better each season.

Cam Johnson will be much more consistent than MPJ. Sometimes you have to note the stats within the stats to get a true picture.

It will be interesting to see where Beal lands. He was obviously overpaid but even if he misses some games which should he expected he could he a pretty nice player to add to a roster especially for the cost.

For the Suns even if they don't save a ton of money they can move on probably Waive and stretch him which could still save them a bunch of money in the long run and give them some more flexibility the next 2 seasons.

Possibly, slow mo is now on his 4th team in the last 13 months. I think his value has really plummeted since he left the wolves

I'd say bring SloMo back but not at the expense of the young guns. 4th big for sure.
