Love, sure

I could see Slo-Mo being held there til someone offers a 2nd rounder/expiring.
Possibly, slow mo is now on his 4th team in the last 13 months. I think his value has really plummeted since he left the wolves
I'd say bring SloMo back but not at the expense of the young guns. 4th big for sure.
I really think the Wolves may wait until after Summer League to determine how they fill the last roster spot(s). Miller and Dillingham especially will be under the microscope since one is a big and the other is a PG and those are the two areas where we might need some outside help to fill out the roster.

Shams:

BREAKING: The Clippers, Jazz and Heat have agreed to a trade that sends Norman Powell to Miami, John Collins to Los Angeles, and Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson and a 2027 Clippers second-round pick to the Jazz, sources tell ESPN.

First of all let's look at this trade.

Miami gets another scorer on the perimeter which they needed. To do that all they have up was a couple bench guys. Hell of a deal for them and Powell fits there very well.

The Clippers give up a really good player in Powell but they really didn't have a typical PF and they get a pretty worthwhile one in Collins who is an expiring contract. I think Collins isn't as good as Powell but it's a trade that kinda makes sense.

Jazz gets to save money and opens up a roster spot. Remember when they were looking to be competitive? This doesn't do that.

Bringing back Anderson for the vet min would be a heck of a move. He would give the Wolves a good defender at PF and a guy that can play as a pseudo PG which is also a need. Idk if Anderson wants to come here to be a guy that maybe never plays. Idk how many options he will have but who knows maybe GS will want him back for nothing. If the Jazz have a roster space having Anderson around might be good for their young guys until they can get something for him. Maybe the same with Love although I would Guess Love is going to be more motivated to move on.

So he is going to Memphis? 😀

Love barely played last year but he still rebounds the heck out of the ball and is a decent high volume 3 point shooter. Some team may have interest in him as a vet depth guy that I would guess is a great teammate. He doesn't seem like a fit here since the Wolves already have offensively focused bigs.

I called it James Wiseman back to the Pacers. They also picked up Huff in a low stakes trade with Memphis.

Ugh! The Spurs trade for Olynyk. That guy is bopping around the league, but not landing with the Wolves. Oh well, our bigs situation is kind of settled, so I don't know that he would have had a big impact here.

I really like him but he had too high of a salary to make sense for the Wolves. Wizards got a couple young players an a 2026 2nd for him so that's something.

My connection to Olynyk: We met his parents and a sibling in Maui two years ago at a luau. Nice people. His mom was impressed that I knew he was the 13th pick in the 2013 draft. :).
