Around the NBA:2025-6
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
SGA having that drive and step back for a clean mid-range shot is so reliable when OKC needs a bucket. It'll be interesting to see if ANT has added that to his bag tricks, knows when to use it, and is as successful.
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
It's a shot that SGA hits at an incredibly high percentage. I have a feeling Ant's mid-range game will mostly be turnarounds versus pull-ups and it's unlikely he can hit those at the same rate. OTOH, his 3-ball is far more dangerous than SGA's. The difference between the two is how efficient SGA is in his passing, off-ball movement, and decision making. His unethical foul-baiting is the one stain on his game.
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
Caruso is a terrific wing defender, but asking him to guard Sengun giving up 6 inches is foolish.
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
Fantastic game. Double OT. The West is frickin' tough!
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
KD channeling 19 year old Chris Webber calling the timeout when they had none...bonehead play for a vet.
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
Udoka was yelling at Thompson about something during a timeout in the 4th quarter. Is that why Reed Sheppard has played the entire 2nd OT instead of Amen?
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
And how quickly 2 became 14! I know I appreciate SGA more than most here, but there isn't one foul called on him tonight that I wouldn't have called if I were reffing.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 8:43 pmMy favorite stat is SGA with just two free throws. It's a miracle!FNG wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 8:40 pmSo ya think averaging 6'10" in your starting lineup is massive?
OkC might be the better team here, but Houston wants to win more. The talent in the NBA is so even, it's difficult to win if you don't bring it every night, and tonight only Caruso and Wallace seem to care. Maybe the Thunder will turn it on in the 4th quarter, but so far they don't look much like the team we faced in the finals.

Thanks Rap. I think he was actually in there on OkC's final possession. Sheppard is terrible...I like Rob better.
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
Even though neither has proven anything I take Dillingham over Sheppard easy right now.
