Climbing the ladder? - Knicks at Wolves GDT
Re: Climbing the ladder? - Knicks at Wolves GDT
Clippers top the Rockets. Interestingly, Houston has only played 26 games, 4 less than the Wolves who are 3 up in W column now.

- Watching Towns is STILL quite the experience. There were multiple times in that 1st half where I thought Towns was fouled and the Wolves got away with one... but then looked like flailing on the second watch. Tough guy to officiate.
- Speaking of 2nd watches... I rewound like 4 straight plays in that 2nd quarter starting with DiVicenzo's alley oop to Gobert. (his hesitation so Gobert could get in there as an option was brilliant) Good basketball plays from both teams right now.
- TJ Shannon. YIKES! He's lost out there right now... on both ends. His offensive game though is so much more conspicuous. I don't know what type of player he is or what his role is... and it's clear he doesn't know either.
It was very worrisome.
- Digging the Grady and Peterson banter. A lot of downtime in this one, so they had to carry it at times. There was a stretch where they really went for it, two professionals matching each other. Wolves fans are lucky to have those two as the main tv guys.
- Reid pushes to Clark, then returns to the corner... Clark drives then dishes to Reid. These two guys know their exact roles probably more than any other two players on the team.
- Edwards wanted an alley oop from Conley for his 40th point. Conley's look back, basically, "Don't be silly. Look at the score, man!" amused me for some reason.
- There aren't that many pros who seem genuine in their appreciation for the local fans... I feel like Towns is. Good to see the mutual respect. (Towns also seems extra buddy-buddy with his former teammates.)

We got the full Julius Randle experience tonight, but boy did he come through for us in the 4th quarter.
When he’s caught in two minds and indecisive he significantly hurts this team like in the first three quarters tonight. When he makes quick and decisive decisions he is an important piece of the puzzle like in the 4th quarter tonight.
Lets hope we get more of the latter going forward.

Fun game, fairly professional win too
Really solid game from Mike, and this game goes into the point column for those who really want a starting PG on the team cause this might have been one of Ant's most complete game of the season- 4 quarters of great 2 way play.
The reason I bring it up is because Ant rarely brought the ball up this game and honestly didn't play on ball nearly as much in general, especially early. He moved well off the ball and was dialed in defensively all game and I just can't help but wonder if having someone else run the offense wasn't a big reason why.
Naz quietly had a nice game in my opinion even tho he didn't shoot well which is becoming a trend for him- not needing to score a lot or shoot well from 3 to still positively affect the game- 11 rebounds too.
Rudy continues to be one of the games best floor raisers.
Weird game from Randle but great to see him take over in the 4th
Also, and maybe it's cause I wasn't paying super close attention to this game, but that might have been one of the quietest 40 point games I've ever seen lol

So, maybe that Knick win wasn't so great after all. The Cavs were up 18-3 in MSG when I tuned in. I see from the box score that KAT picked up 2 fouls in 3 minutes...
