Wow! Hard earned victory in OT for the Kings over the Rockets. That moves the Wolves into 5th place, although they still have one more loss than the Rockets.
A lot of the top teams will gain a loss or two over the next few days as they are all playing each other. If the Wolves can manage victories against the Knicks and at Denver, there will be some movement in their favor!

Man, Garza has been essential to a 3rd quarter comeback, and now he's being rewarded with minutes in the 4th with the starters as Boston has a chance to come back against the Pacers. He's not stuffing the stat sheet, but he works his butt off and is contributing to winning plays. Nice to see!

Atlanta's reddit page is in shambled, calling Jalen Johnson a worse defender than Trae in the post game threads.AbeVigodaLive wrote: ↑Fri Dec 19, 2025 9:09 amI recently dug more into the Hawks. Forget about Trae Young and NAW... Holy Jalen Johnson!!!Q-is-here wrote: ↑Thu Dec 18, 2025 10:26 pm This won't help those of us depressed about our bench. So Trae Young is back in the starting lineup for Atlanta, kicking NAW back to the bench. And what does NAW do but score 28 points on 11-18 from the field. He was a +23, yet the Hawks still lost! Trae Young was a -3 in 20 minutes.
Last 8 games:
43/11/9
12/10/12
19/11/12
30/12/12
21/18/16
29/13/7
41/14/7
29/12/12
28/13/11 over that span.
He's still flying under the radar. He's also one of those guys who is making leaps EVERY season... something to look for in young stars. Only he's making HUGE leaps from season to season.
I can't do it justice here by posting the stats. They just keep going up significantly in virtually every category year after years. Volume, efficiency, everything.

Scotty bleeping Barnes with a 25 rebound triple double against Golden State!
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
Toronto goes out and signs Mo Bamba. Bamba may not be the answer for the Wolves frontcourt, but that kind of player might certainly help in protecting the paint. I doubt TC will ignore this deficiency, just a question of when...

Hawks have put zaccharie risacher on the block and wants to attach expiring in Porzingis and Kennard to make a trade. Not sure it’s worth trading Randle for that but thought I should bring it up
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
Wow, giving up on the #1 pick in his second season. I don't know that their main intent is to move Risacher though...it's to get rid of the albatross that is Trae Young. They are now 3-10 when he plays and 12-8 when he doesn't. They want to move on from Young and put together a package that will bring back AD. Maybe Dallas would see Risacher as a guy who would thrive with a change in address.

Spurs go down at home to Cleveland, a team the Bulls just beat twice in a row about a week ago! Wemby a -17.
Jokic limps off at the half and Denver gets crushed in the second half for the loss.
Meanwhile, Phoenix is starting to stack some wins.
