I have been very critical of Finch this year, especially his offense. But this lineup tonight proved that if you move the ball, you will get open looks. Maybe this is what Ant was talking about when he said they don't follow the game plan? Meaning he doesn't.

Randle had 2 heat check 3s, but otherwise he was by far the best player on the court. If he keeps playing defense like this, the Wolves are going to be a handful!

Honestly Ant should take his time coming back. We need to make sure he is 100 percent and we have been doing fine without him. I think I have changed my mind on trading for anyone. Why give up on Dilly for someone who likely will be of similar ilk to what Bones has given us. Clearly Beringer will work as a backup big. I would only scan the buyout market. We have an exception from what I understand and sounds like we can pay some of the most for the buyout guys. Very exciting game tonight.

DVR Review:

- If it wasn't obvious enough already... the Wolves knew Anthony Edwards was not playing this game during the Spurs game. He's not even on the bench. With a game not until Friday... is he on vacation or just doing business out in LA or something? I'm guessing Rudy pulled the "Hey! If he doesn't have to go, I'm not going either." Not thrilled with the look of not being there, but these guys are professionals and if their teammates are cool with it, so be it.

- Hot shooting early. It helps that the ball is popping and the Bucks are very slow to react. A lot of wide open shots.

- Beringer looks unconventional or even awkward out there. But it's effective. He's gotten his hands just enough on several balls to keep possessions alive. He's looking like he'll be fun.

- Great extra pass from Randle for the WIDE open three. He's showing good leadership in this one. Playing well.

- The Bucks look awful. The Wolves just pulled off the side out-of-bounds alley oop... to Donte Divencenzo?

- And they're getting worse! With 2:30 left in the 1st half, Conley and Reid ran a simple pick-and-roll. And it ended in a wide open dunk for Reid. Only, it wasn't an alley oop or even a pocket pass. It was a lazy lob pass that Reid caught at the free throw line only to see all of the Bucks players run away for some reason.

- ProTip for Doc Rivers and the Bucks... don't have AJ Green try to guard Julius Randle. Yikes.

- The disparity between Bones Hyland and Dillingham is expanding. It was interesting to hear Jim Pete talk about finch talking Bones up before the game. Something got him going. Nice game.

- We can probably start the countdown to Dillingham leaving the Twin Cities at any point. He really wanted to make an impact in this one... but he just does NOT have the chops. At this point it's clear to everyone. And sadly... maybe even to Dillingham. The only question is what could they possibly get for him at this point.

- The Wolves are clicking right now. Good vibes. They'll probably have another Brooklyn/Atlanta meltdown, but at least we know they can shake it off and be ready when it's needed at the end of the season and into the playoffs.

It was 18-15 when Joan checked in, he played 11 straight minutes when he headed to the bench with us up 56-34. We never looked back. The potential of Joan is exactly what this team needed.

Hmm...I'm struggling to detect what is so offensive in Abe's post. I don't see any hot takes in there, and the only thing I disagree with is Abe's comment about Rudy and Ant not being there. At first I was unhappy about it, but the more I thought about it, it didn't bother me at all. It was a 1-game road trip with then a couple days off before traveling to Texas. I would lay 5 to 1 that Finchy told Rudy and Ant "Hey guys...there's no need for you to go with us to Wisconsin. We're gonna need you in Texas, so take it easy at home for a couple days".

Yeah, I never interpreted Ant's comment as meaning the team not following the game plan. I always though it was an admission that he wasn't following the game plan. It puts Finchy in a tough place. Ant is the face of the Wolves and our high scorer, and he has won games for us this season with his clutch shooting. But he doesn't play the style of basketball Finchy prefers. He wants us to push the pace and move the ball, but that just isn't Ant's style. Ant prefers to play slowly and look for his shot first. But look at how we play when Ant is out. How much fun was it to see this team play with pace...Donte, Mike and Bones had the ball past midcourt in seconds, and I don't know if I have seen so many open looks for our guys resulting from making the extra pass. Not to mention the defense was much more aggressive with Ant out.

Some may diminish this victory by saying Milwaukee didn't play well, and they're right. But the Bucks were 7-4 at home this year with Giannis playing, and we took them out of the game by punching them in the face right from the start. I think the Bucks were stunned to be losing to a team missing its 2 future HOFers, and they just gave up after the first 8 minutes.

Yeah, I love Abe's DVR reviews! Not sure what D-Loser's issue is.

Can suspended players be on the bench?

I would have left Ant home as well. The less he is on the foot, the better. And we all know he would have been jumping off the bench cheering the team on. Let him heal and get ready for the run to the All star break.

There was some fight at the start off the third, which has lead to epic collapses in the league, especially for the Wolves in the past, but the Wolves put on the clamps on defense and the Bucks just didn't have enough to sustain their push. Then Joan came in and that was it...lol.
