Jeez I just finally saw the whole replay of the injury... That's tough to watch, he went completely coldFNG wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:07 pmI really wanted the Lakers to finish 3rd because I think we match up well with the Spurs. And now Wemby is out with a concussion. Gotta find a way to beat Denver first though.AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 8:40 pm Idk if they can do it after going 6 or 7 hard games with Denver, but the Spurs are definitely beatable. Wolves also match up really well too.
Also, Stephon Castle is going to be so good

Lakers leading at halftime again. Not such an easy out FNG.FNG wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:07 pmI really wanted the Lakers to finish 3rd because I think we match up well with the Spurs. They'd be much easier right now without Luka.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 11:03 pmLakers leading at halftime again. Have to give it to LeBron. How the hell is he still doing this?? Never seen it before and likely never will again. It really has been impressive and a pleasure overall.
Re: Around the NBA:2025-6
It's amazing what LeBron is doing now that he doesn't have to defer to two other ball-dominant scorers! On the other side, Durant returned and had 9 turnovers. I still think Houston will win this series, and I think we would have easily dispatched them in round one, but I can still marvel at what a 41-year-old is doing.TheFuture wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2026 1:15 amThey'd be much easier right now without Luka.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 11:03 pmLakers leading at halftime again. Houston is a mess.
You have to expect big changes from them this off-season. All of their core players are highly flawed

I don't know, Aussie. Yes, they should be able to beat a wounded Lakers team (and I think they will), but they also won 52 games last season and won all of their final 11 games except the loss to us. They have some young talent, and Van Vleet will be coming back. I don't know their cap situation, but if I were a Rockets fan, I would feel comfortable with them running it back. I agree their core players have some flaws, but you don't win 52 games in the competitive West if you're not really good.AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2026 8:09 am Houston is a mess.

Even if LeBron is on HGH or whatever. Most players probably are. The fact that he has had zero major injuries in 22 years, with his added postseason play, is pure insanity. No acl tear, Achilles, calf or hamstring tear. Foot/ankle issues. Broken bone. Major surgeries. Nothing.
Add to that that he has been pretty much entirely clean even though he's been under the public microscope since he was a teen. All without a father figure too. And by all accounts he seems to be a dang good husband and father himself.
He really is a marvel.

I think we screwed up not resigning NAW instead of Naz, we missed NAW this season a lot. His pressure defense was so amazing to watch. Having both him and Jaden on the perimeter was such a killer combo, then Rudy backing them up. I did like our defense last game though! Especially Rudy on Jokic, that was all time great type of shizzz.
