Check out this calm, analytical assessment of the Nuggets coaching. :). It’s actually hilarious. It’s what a number of us would sound like if we didn’t censor and filter our own posts. :).
That looks like some pretty good analysis to me and the delivery is pretty funny! There are always some bad defensive possessions in an NBA game however that that video had a lot of them. The reality is that the Nuggets had like one year a couple years ago when they were a top 10 defensive team. Other years they were middle of the road or worse. Idk if coaching is the problem there exactly but they aren't good at that whether you look at what they are doing on the floor or the numbers.

What a whiny …..!
I'm sure he was responding to the question and Jokic did something he isn't gonna be like it's no big deal. He should be yelling even louder or what we to fire out his roster to beat these guys.

What McDaniels did was not what you are supposed to do but also who the fuck cares like really? The game is over regardless. It's not like he did an actual cheap shot on someone etc.

It's strange how morose the vibe is on this board overall. This team spent the year with the switch only semi-erect, promising that they'd switch it on when it mattered, much to the lamentatuon of us all, but they are doing it.

We all wanted defense and ball movement and we are getting it. Some of us are sick of Rudy but he is doing exactly what they would have asked of him. Some of us are fed up with Ant but he is out of the way now.

What gives?

I can only speak for myself, phe, but I’m morose because my favorite player just blew an Achilles. Now did I have fun watching the second half last night? Hells yes! I’ve said several times on this board that this team is much more fun to watch when Ant is out. I was hoping for another deep run this year, but unless someone can come up with an example of a team that lost 2 key starters in the first round and still made it to the finals, I’m going to conclude that second round is our ceiling. It just feels a little deflating…

absolutely hilarious Lip!

We should play close attention to clips of Joker not showing on the PNR and realize that Rudy has been doing the same thing all year likely under Finch's direction. In game 2 Ant pulled Rudy aside and told him two things; don't reach on Joker, and he needed him to press up on the pick and that is the single biggest difference in our D shutting Joker and Murray down.

I have called this out before mainly because Rudy was dropping into the lower box and giving Murray (or whoever the ball handler might be) a free downhill path to the basket. Most importantly and why Denver is still struggling with it is because we took away the predictability of our D. I hope they continue to do that with Rudy being one of the better bigs able to handle the switch, and showing up top.

I have the feeling of "what could have been" even though we are still very much in the here and now with more playoff basketball to play. The combination of the switch being flipped defensively (and yes, Ant was part of that defensive switch flipping in the Game 2 comeback win) plus the emergence of Ayo off the bench would have given me the confidence that perhaps we'd have a shot against the Spurs and OKC.

But alas, the path is severely narrowed without Ant especially and DDV, who had been off to a terrific start in the playoffs. It would require Ayo to keep up what he did in Games 3 and 4 plus another "A Star is Born" moment with someone like TJ for us to have any shot at making a run to the Finals at this point.

Yes, it actual some very good analysis as well as hilarious. Some of my favorite lines with the funny delivery you’re referring to:

- “nepotism killer of society.” (In another video he goes off on Adelman as an example of nepotism).
- “When can society get rid of everyone one of these humans.”
- “This is all coaching. It’s ruined my life. It makes me depressed every day.”

I have the same sense of things as you, Q. That win in game 2 had me starting to believe in this team. Ant has always been a great playoff performer and Donte was playing the best playoff basketball he’s ever played by far. The entire team was defending the way they should. So there’s definitely a sense of what might have been. But I’m not morose. I’m proud of the way the team responded last night. I’m excited about what we’ve been seeing from Ayo and what that can mean going forward next season and beyond. And I still see a bright future ahead for TJ as a T-Wolf if we keep him. Now we’ll have to see how far Ayo, Jaden, Randle, and Rudy can take us the rest of this post season. If we’re going to have a shot at advancing beyond this round (perhaps even in this round), I think we’ll need to see the TJ and Mike Conley we saw in last year’s playoffs. Will we see a 35-40 point game or two from Jaden? Will we see Randle dominate some games the way he did last year before the Western Conference finals?

I don’t want to get too giddy when it comes to Ayo, but perhaps TC’s acquisition of him is akin to OKC’s acquisition of SGA. If so, we’ll have two all-star caliber guards in our backcourt next season. OK, I’m a bit too giddy. And I’m certainly not morose. :).

This guy has been around for a few years and has found that the more over-the-top he gets, the more subscribers he gets. It's funny as hell, but I also appreciate how much work it must be to break down all this film in detail and then work up the energy to shred his vocal chords on narrating the video breakdown.
