Isn't Giannis pretty um ... Displeased with Turner? Good fit on paper, but yeah idk.
If you can keep Jaden, you make the trade, and honestly if you keep Naz and lose Jaden that could be worth it too, but it would hurt more
Giannis Trade Discussion

You're back on the bus Tim, welcome!60WinTim wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2026 8:38 pmI had completely dismissed the Giannis-to-Wolves talk awhile ago as "quite unlikely". But for some reason I have reengaged on the idea. Here is an interesting observation: Rudy, Randle and NAZ for Giannis and Turner works financially, and would even save the Wolves about 8 mil to spend elsewhere. While the Bucks would only have interest in NAZ, Rudy and Randle could be sent elsewhere to get the Bucks players/picks to their liking, plus the pick or two the Wolves can include. It suddenly doesn't seem as impossible as I previously thought. And with TC at the helm...
Finch mentioned in a recent KFAN interview how Shannon can be part of the ball-handling solution. That's a main backcourt rotation of Ayo, ANT and Shannon. Giannis, Turner and Joan are the main frontcourt rotation. Jaden is still here at the wing, and the roster is filled out with vet minimums (SloMo, Bones and/or Mike are solid choices). I would be on board with all of that!
Re: Giannis Trade Discussion
You have to ask yourself is that more compelling than the reported Heat offer that Milwaukee hasn't taken yet. Herro is probably similar in value to Randle but is younger and Ware And Jaquez are cheap and shown they can already play. Plus #13 plus whatever other picks/pick swaps. The Bucks might be able to get another young player out of the deal too. If I was the Bucks I would take that over the package centered around Naz and trying to find picks for Randle and Rudy unless their value is much higher than I expect.60WinTim wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2026 8:38 pmI had completely dismissed the Giannis-to-Wolves talk awhile ago as "quite unlikely". To be honest the Heat package while not wildly thrilling ain't terrible considering the situation the Bucks are in. They don't have incredible leverage especially since teams aren't gonna give up all the things without Giannis saying yeah I want to be there long term. That package could end up looking underwhelming a couple years from now but let's be honest a lot of the trades for star players don't work out to being back a high impact player. After all the things with Jimmy Butler the Wolves ended up with Jaden McDaniels. They should have been able to get more out of it than that and if you go down some rabbit holes you could say they have (Especially if you consider past players that contributed in previous seasons) but I'd take just getting Jaden out of the deal and be reasonably happy.

Wouldn't the Bucks want Herro for the same reason we think Dallas would be fine taking Randle back in a Kyrie trade?Monster wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2026 10:24 pmYou have to ask yourself is that more compelling than the reported Heat offer that Milwaukee hasn't taken yet. Re: Giannis Trade Discussion
Oh I think the Bucks would be much more interested in having Herro at his age than a deal where the Mavs would taking back Randle when they already have a younger PJ Washington that fits around various players easily and is making quite a bit less money. Honestly Herro might actually compare closer to Naz as a young player but I was kinda making the point of Herro being worth more to the Bucks than Randle plus they get at least 2 other young cheap players than Naz and a better draft pick.WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2026 11:27 amWouldn't the Bucks want Herro for the same reason we think Dallas would be fine taking Randle back in a Kyrie trade?Monster wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2026 10:24 pmYou have to ask yourself is that more compelling than the reported Heat offer that Milwaukee hasn't taken yet. It sounds like people are back to assuming Giannis is going to Miami.
