Boston basically built a team around Jalen Brown dumping guys to save salary and weren't supposed to be very good. They might figure they can do it again around Tatum and Giannis. They would be a team with some opportunity so they might get some guys willing to go there cheap. I mean would Simons go back there on a cheap one year deal? What would I give up for White? Idk one issue about him and a reason why the Celtics might be willing to move him is he is owed over 98 million the next 3 years. If he returns to his play before this year that's fine but what if he doesn't? If we are talking about trading Randle and a couple 2nd or something then sure. I'd guess the Celtics would only be trading him to get some real assets to the Bucks or they will just keep him.Phenom wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2026 5:16 pmI'm guessing White will be retained since they wouldn't need his salary to match Giannis. If they are willing to trade him at that point, I'd steer clear.rapsuperstar31 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2026 4:54 pm [O’Connor] The Boston Celtics are actively making calls and shopping everyone not named Jayson Tatum. Boston is “in” on Giannis Antetokounmpo and they are making a real push to acquire him.
If you think White can turn it around next season, you can always check in on him.

Hearing there may be some Suggs momentum building for the Wolves. This is a good thing.

It’s websites all of a sudden aggregating something Jon K mentioned 2 weeks agoCoolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2026 1:30 pm Hearing there may be some Suggs momentum building for the Wolves. This is a good thing.

I would love it, but I wonder if you are referring to comments Jon K made a week ago. He's the only one I have heard mention Suggs to the Wolves and of course the internet ran with it. But today Jon clarified that he tweeted about Suggs just as a "thought exercise". I don't see Orlando wanting Randle to back up Paolo at PF either. But I agree Suggs would be a terrific addition.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2026 1:30 pm Hearing there may be some Suggs momentum building for the Wolves. This is a good thing.

I'm first referring to comments I made before John K did. And maybe you're right, people are picking up on what he said.FNG wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2026 1:44 pmI would love it, but I wonder if you are referring to comments Jon K made a week ago. Not only have Joan and Rocco been working out together, they've been fishing, too!
Both these guys are going to be a "breath of fresh air" as they begin to accumulate minutes next season...

Will be fun to watch these guys in Summer League, which is less than a month away, and see how their games and bodies have evolved. I haven't seen either one in action since early spring and these guys are young enough that a lot can change in 4 or 5 months!60WinTim wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2026 11:27 am https://x.com/Timberwolves/status/2066533090164396054

It's definitely what it was. Jon K referenced "rumor mill" names like Suggs and aggregators quickly made their usual trash posts re-framing what Jon K said as if it was reporting.FNG wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2026 1:44 pmI would love it, but I wonder if you are referring to comments Jon K made a week ago. Re: Wolves offseason outlook.
"After a tough second-round playoff elimination against the San Antonio Spurs in six games, the Minnesota Timberwolves face complex roster decisions. Rumors suggest that retaining standout guard Ayo Dosunmu in free agency may require a difficult trade sacrifice, potentially forcing the front office to move fan-favorite Donte DiVincenzo, who is expected to miss most of next season due to a torn right Achilles tendon. This is necessary to avoid the costly second luxury tax apron.
However, the front office is not wasting any time ensuring their backcourt remains intact.
According to a report by Jake Fischer, the upcoming summer marketplace will feature marquee guards like Trae Young, Ja Morant, and Austin Reaves, with Reaves expected to enter unrestricted free agency after formally declining his $14.9 million player option.
Despite intense external competition and widespread projections that Reaves will ultimately stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Timberwolves are already hard at work behind the scenes. Fischer reports that league sources confirm Minnesota is diligently negotiating a new deal to keep Dosunmu, their influential midseason acquisition, long-term in the Twin Cities.
Locking him down now helps Minnesota avoid the asset-heavy bidding wars that deterred other suitors during the regular season. For example, the Detroit Pistons were heavily engaged in trade talks with the Chicago Bulls for Dosunmu before the deadline, but ultimately chose to acquire Kevin Huerter instead.
As reported by Hunter Patterson of The Athletic, Detroit refused to meet Chicago's steep asking price of young players and draft capital, especially given the uncertainty around Dosunmu's willingness to re-sign. After landing in Minnesota and having a stellar postseason run, Dosunmu has attracted attention from rival front offices, making the Timberwolves' proactive contract negotiations a crucial move to secure their core before the free-agent period officially begins."

The Ringer updated it's top 100 list after the season ended. Kat jumps up to 12th, and a bunch of Spurs rose including Harper jumping 54 spots to 45th. Ayo one of the bigger risers going jumping 15 spots to 81st. It doesn't include injured players, so Donte isn't on the list.

Rudy 39th
Jaden 51st
Julius 54th
