Yeah I wonder what his market will be and what kind of opportunity he would receive or want. He likely isn't starting here.

Or maybe the rookie flames out and the known quantity veteran has to be a cap cut and thrives in a new spot? Not every sure fire lottery pick pays off. I like the idea of Hartenstien being motivated to beat the Thunder while starting for the Wolves!Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 8:25 pm The Thunder just drafted a guy who has the length to match Wemby. Of course, they also have Holmgren. No doubt they’ll also re-sign Hartenstein. The strong get stronger. It’s so frustrating to see the teams we are chasing have multiple high first round picks while we try to get their level with a bare draft cupboard, feeding on scraps.

OK Hornets.
Ready to trade ?
Re: Draft Night Thread - First Round
Remember anu number of years ago when Utah had a huge collection of bigs? They didn't stop drafting them. If I remember right the lowest drafted guy will be a HOF.BeenLurkin wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 8:34 pmOr maybe the rookie flames out and the known quantity veteran has to be a cap cut and thrives in a new spot? Well I guess the deal to move up for Philon isn’t with the Hornets.
Re: Draft Night Thread - First Round
Is Steinbach a good fit next to Rudy and the rest of the Hornets guys?
Re: Draft Night Thread - First Round
After Charlotte takes Steinbach, we have 4 straight teams making their 2nd pick of the night. Hmmm....
Re: Draft Night Thread - First Round
The Bulls were projected to take Steinbach at #15. What will they do now that he’s off the board? The smart move for the Bulls is to draft Philon and deal him to the Wolves for Rudy.
