LeBron has reportedly told the Lakers that he is moving on. Get that 23 Wolves jersey ready.

I think my favorite move is adding Miami into the BIG trade where Green and Shannon go to Miami and Portis comes to Minnesota. The word seems to be out that TC wants to bring back all three of our FAs: Mike, Bones and SloMo.

LaMelo, Ayo, Mike
ANT, Bones, Evans
Jaden, Clark
Portis, SloMo
Rudy, Joan

Donte on IR...

That leaves 2 roster spots open. Rocco is likely destined for one of those spots at some point over the season. I'm not sure if the Wolves will fill the last roster spot immediately or not.

It won’t happen but no better spot in the league for LeBron to land than Minnesota

I think I prefer to make a move with the money the team has and keep TJ. I'm more open to moving Green on his own, possibly even at the deadline when teams are more serious about shedding future salary.

I like having all of these ball handlers now around Ant to hopefully keep defenses honest. If TJ can help bring a good big AND a draft asset or 2, that would be a different story.

Harrison Barnes for 8 million...I'm actually a little surprised he got that much. I'm not suggesting it's outrageous or anything but yeah.

LeBron is reportedly open to all interested teams and wants Rich Paul to speak with all of them.

There are not a lot of trade options that have a chance of working out. But Santiago Aldama would fill the bill, with the rest of the roster filled out with vet minimums. TC might be able to get the deal done without including TJ, which would probably eliminate the return of Bones.

Hard to say how much might be accomplished tonight...

LeBron is a perfect fit here. We need a PF who can score and stretch the floor. I’ve heard that LeBron is pretty good at those things. :). Honestly, if he wants to close out his career with one more ring and right the final chapter that’s historic and unexpected, coming here for the taxpayer minimum would be perfect. We’re a team that can win it all. We have young players he can mentor, one of them, Ant, a player LeBron has publicly praised and appears to really like. Finally, he could go out as the guy who finally brought a championship ring to the franchise that has never won one.

I think he’ll end up in Cleveland or Golden State. But the idea of him coming here, while pretty far out there, isn’t completely nuts.
