LeBron

SloMo
Olynyk
Nance Jr
Watford
Yabu
Batum
KLove

I'd add Lyles into the mix. Vando could hit the open market.

I'm curious now where finances stand around the league now, specifically for the guys at the top of the list.

Correct me if I am wrong but the Lakers will need to renounce Rui to make all their moves happen unless he can be signed and traded for one of their new guys. I'm assuming that will ruin the math on all their deals somehow.

I'm trying see who has money left. I'm not sure if there is a one stop shop to see what's left.

The Bulls have the room mid-level 9.4m. They have a lot of 4s including rookie Caleb Wilson. If they signed Rui it could open up a trade with the Wolves.
Detroit has money depending on Duren but spent a bag on Collins.
The Nets? They have Julius which may or may not matter.
Who is going to pay Rui?
Unless the Clippers have money, that might be the only team left with opportunity and money to offer.

I would watch Vando. He could be cut and stretched for cap space. He is one of Ants favorites. Makes a lot of sense.

Fun question...who is a more worthwhile player overall right now Vando or Kyle Anderson? I'll take Kyle Anderson.

I prefer Kyle. He has some offensive value. Vando's energy and defensive chops would be nice but why not get Okogie instead? He has started to hit his threes.

Yeah I'd have to say the same. Assuming both are vet min guys, I'd take SloMo. Okogie being only 6'4 probably eliminates him for me barring any further trading.

We already have Okogie. His name is Jaylen Clark

The more I think about it, Kendrich Williams doesn’t make any sense for us. He’s 6’7, 210 with a 6’7.25 wingspan. He’s just a backup SF who can hit threes. Josh Green is actually bigger, more athletic and can also hit threes. If the thinking here is that we’re too small with Jaden at PF, then we shouldn’t be targeting Kenrich.

I don’t see any rotation bigs we can get without giving up TSJ and none of them are good enough or essential enough to pay that price. I think we could get Jovic or Patrick Williams without giving up TSJ, but I don’t want their contracts in exchange for Josh unless we can get at least one first round pick and one 2nd back. Even then, I’m not so sure.

So I keep coming back to Marvin Bagley at the vet minimum or a portion of our taxpayer MLE. Mo Wagner comes to mind as well. He can hit threes and rebound. He’s also around 7’ 245 pounds. Sign one or the other and Jeremy Sochan.
