The 3rd time playing (and retiring) for his hometown team has legs.
The return to Miami has legs.

Filming a year-long documentary while in a "boring" NBA city (where James can't golf for 7 months of the year) for a largely overlooked franchise doesn't make much sense to me.
Steph is really really good at golf too, he and James can play together. Though obviously I don't think James is a good golfer looking at him. But yeah on Bryson D's youtube channel break 50, Steph was on it and outdriving Bryson several times. It was insane to see and a great watch for any BB and golf fan. Just a nice crossover.
Ha, you're right WF! James says he is a 20-25 handicap, even worse than me! Steph is a 2. Best recent TWolf was Conley at 7.

It takes a ton of work to get to single digit. Hell, even a 15-handicap requires a fair amount of golf, lessons, and practice. If LeBron is fairly early in his golf journey, being in the low 20s is nothing to be ashamed of. It also goes to show that being a great natural athlete isn't enough when it comes to golf!

I actually think some of it is on the passers too. Big guys can't catch low passes in general well, like bounce passes down at their knees or nuts. Throw it up high and he's fine. Rudy probably would never admit it, but you got to be super accurate and in the right spots. LeBron can do that too, along with Melo. Which makes the fit even better. It makes so much sense basketball wise. Not sure story or city or franchise wise. I do think that is ultimately LeBrons priority.
Regardless of Rudy catching passes or not Lebron would be absolutely thrilled to have a center good at anything and and or looks like he actually gives a damn about playing winning basketball.

The Timberwolves are ramping up their push for LeBron James, sources tell @TheAthletic.
The pitch: Team w/Ant, LaMelo, Jaden, Rudy in championship-starved Minnesota to go after a title that could cement his case for the throne.

One key snippet:
The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe ongoing deliberations, said the Timberwolves have been in contact with James’ representatives with a bold pitch: team up with Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert to go after the kind of championship that could end any discussion about who is the greatest player of all time.

I'm still in the probably won't happen camp, but MAN it's a potential massive storyline and a docu crew will be following him all season. lol I mean COME ON MAN

I think Lore and Arod being the owners makes this much more likely than if Glen Taylor was still the owner for multiple reasons.

On the other hand maybe we need Becky's lasagna and Glen to look Lebron in the eye to seal the deal...

From Forbes this morning:
Although LeBron James’ agent remains unsure which NBA team he will join for next season, Rich Paul sounded confident on when to expect the NBA’s oldest active player will finalize his future.

“I don’t think this happens anytime soon,” Paul told me.

Should teams be prepared for James to make a decision in weeks instead of days?

“I don’t think it’ll be the next few days," Paul said.
This tells me probably more than a few days, less than a couple weeks. Hopefully it doesn't drag on all month lol
