I can't remember Sherrels dropping a punt, now he does it. Well it was a nice career Sherrels. Nice to have known ya.

I would have went for it on 4th down there. 9 minutes left you need 3 scores. I mean it's like a miracle shot but might as well try it.
Re: Playoffs: 49ers
Well...this was a loss I was expecting it came a week later.
It's pretty tough to win a game when you flat out can't run the ball. Cook might be their best offensive player it makes sense to get him the ball and the Niners shut everything down.
The idea that the Vikings should go down field has some merit but have you seen this offensive line? They often don't hold up in pass protection. It will be interesting to see how the niners do the rest of the post season.
This game wasn't close but I also didn't feel like the team came out and just laid an egg either. The defense wasn't amazing but they weren't the reason this team lost. They had a couple of shorat fields to defend and were out there a ton. They weren't good enough against the run but the offense was no where near good enough. Colquitt punted his butt off and Ameer even gave them some good field position and the offense couldn't get anything done. Oh well now it's offseason time. Gonna be REAL interesting. Fun season I can't really complain. It would be funny if the Browns hired Stefanski after that offensive output. Lol

49ers pretty much handled the Packers like they did the Vikings. Gonna set up an interesting matchup in the Super Bowl.

Here is my take.
49ers won't be able to run on the Chiefs who just shutdown a great running team in the Titans
49ers can't play form behind
No lead is safe against the Chiefs
I see the Chiefs winning this and Mahomes as Superbowl MVP. Suck on that Aikman.

KC being able to stop the run is something I'm curious about too. They pretty much held the Texans in check the previous game despite being a bad run defense the regular season. Statistically speaking KC hasn't faced a team in the playoffs as good on both ends of the ball as the 49ers. Mahomes looks to have the caliber of a career that absolutely deserves to win at least one Super Bowl and Andy Reid is deserving of getting one also IMHO. I don't really care who wins but I hope it's a good game.

The Titans pretty much are a mirror of the 49ers. Control the clock and run you over with a power running game. I think Andy Reid will have the Chiefs ready to play. The 49ers have to play near perfectly. This game reminds me a little of the Bills vs Giants Superbowl. The one where the Giants controlled the clock the whole game and still barely won because of a missed FG by the Bills.

KC becomes the 1st team to be down double digits in all playoff games and win the superbowl.

San Fran blew this game by Shannies terrible abandonment of the run. WTF was he thinking? You're winning the game, you are running the ball very well yet you stop doing it. Run the ball, score, run out the clock. He's now had two inexcusable disasters with the Falcons and now 9ers. As great of a system he has he goes against the strength of his own team and blows it.
