Didn't it all start when we traded them Keith Millard for a second round pick after not playing for 30 straight games?

Not sure about that, I just remember they were pissed beyond belief at the poison pill clause in Hutchenson's contract. I remember they went hard after Sidney Rice and got burned because he never had another season like that one huge season with the Vikings.

Wow. I thought I had a memory. For SEA, that was an owner and about 4 GM's ago. For MIN, that was three majority owners and about 100 minority owners ago, along with 5 GM's (Jeff Diamond was the GM at the time).
Millard got in a fight with a teammate on the flight home from a loss. Tom Flores took the teammate's side. Millard reportedly said to Flores "Then why don't you cut me, bitch!"(Which, if you ask any fast food employee in Mankato or Eden Prairie, they will tell you is totally out of character {Sarcasm}). Flores said "You got it", leading to the most uncomfortable flight (to that point) in history.
As far as Allen, read his book. If he can get past everything with Gates, and game 7 of the 2001 WCF, he can get past the Hutchinson thing.
As far as AP, they are going to offer him low money. It's a depth signing. I don't think anybody there is saying "Hey, you know what we need? A guy who has fumbled in his last 4 playoff games and couldn't pick up a blitz if HIS life depended on it who is about to turn 32."
I wasn't at USBank for the IND game, but when he fumbled at the 15, you could feel over the TV the life go out of the stadium (and with those really big doors, it goes out quicker than normal). I turned to the person I was watching the game with and I said "This is going to be his last year in football." I may still be wrong, but it doesn't look like the world is beating down his door.
I guess ESPN was wrong about something else.

I think it was that Burleson was the guy they signed in response to Hutch who wasn't all that fantastic as a Viking.

I am so surprised Adrian Peterson has not picked a team yet. I am sure he is considering all the offers very carefully.

Lacy signs with Seahawks 1 year $5.5m. $3m guaranteed. I am surprised by the amount of money.
Who does that leave left for AP? I don't want him back, but not sure he would swallow his pride to come back.

I was surprised at the amount of money too. Lacy makes a lot of sense the way the Seahawks have run the ball the last few years. I saw a tweet that someone from the Packers said that he was at 267 lbs. Pete Carrol said he wanted him big. Lol
Now that Lacy got paid it should make things interesting. Will AP settle for less than what Lacy got paid...from anyone? Who is the best FA this offseason. I couldn't tell you. Nobody really jumps out at me.
Meanwhile the Pats picked up Rex Burkhead which I think is a nice move.

This draft isn't gonna do AP any favors either with a lot of perceived quality options to draft. Just not a lot of fits left for a RB of his style.

I just watched this highlight real from Latavius Murray.
https://youtu.be/O9iJAvJcGsI
That's not exactly inspiring. He is 6'2" so pretty tall for a RB and doesn't really seem all that explosive. I see him as a guy that would be an obvious upgrade over Asiata but I don't think the guy is the answer. It makes sense to sign someone like him of the price was decent just to have a guy that can do a lot of things well that's a vet.
I also saw that Zach Line is visiting the Jets. Right now the Vikings have Mckinnon as the only player under contract that's assured to have a RB spot on the roster. We really don't know for sure what the offensive philosophy is so it's hard to know exactly what the plan is there.

I am not a Murray fan. I would rather good with a rookie or Blount.
