PJ is a combo guard that includes PG skills. I remember him, but don't remember much about him. But TC knows him well, so this sounds like a good deal for everyone. PJ gets his feet back in the NBA and knows he may not see much playing time. But he has the skillset and experience to fill in here and there when called upon.

I think we are done! The last two-way probably won't be filled until after Summer League. Good Night.

More: Dozier tore his ACL in 2021 with Denver, rehabbed and has been working his way back to the NBA. Also spent time with Sacramento in 2023. Connelly kept in touch with Dozier's agent, Kevin Bradbury of @LIFTSPORTSMNGMT, and remains high on his potential.
He’s a career 40.6% FG shooter and 30.7% three-point shooter. He hasn’t distinguished himself to say the least as a playmaker or rebounder. He has good size and maybe his defense is really good. This signing troubles me because I can’t see trusting significant backup PG minutes to such a poor shooter. That means we’ll have to rely far too much on an undersized rookie to back up our 37 year old PG who has a history of missing a lot of games even when younger. Maybe this is a case of TC relying too much on familiarity and personal affection for a guy. Then again, maybe this is a case of TC’s genius.

PJ Dozier was also with our G league a year ago before getting signed by the kings!

Maybe they have NAW on pg training this summer. I get a little nervous when he's bringing the ball up, but once he gets it past half court he's shown playmaking abilities.

You'll change your mind once you look into his more recent body of work.

If Conley misses as many games as I’m afraid he might, I would be surprised if we ended up seeing Ant as our lead guard paired with Terrence Shannon at SG in a number of games.

I’ll check it out. But his worst shooting season in the NBA with significant sample size was his most recent.

The Wolves have 4 players over the age of 26. It's still a pretty young roster. There is too much player movement to do a test of total roster age but my guess is at worst they are even now with Ingles signing in the middle.
We were pretty much right in middle and actually lost four players over 28 (Kyle, Monte, TJ Warren and JMAC) so maybe the Jingles signing didn't make us all that old as RD is young, but TSJ is close to the median age as a rookie.

Not excited with PJ or Jingles. Losing Monte and Kyle hurts. The only positive is if Kyle's departure can get Miller into the rotation and he contributes positively. Losing both Monte and JMAC puts a lot of pressure on RD and if RD doesn't deliver, I'm worried about next season. I think all the top teams in the West (except for Denver and Clippers, and not sure of Sac) improved more than we did and its going to be more difficult to return to the WCF, especially as we are now targets of other teams.

Rob has to be licking his chops, he's going to get plenty of minutes this season unless he is a complete train wreck!
