Ouch. Devin Carter, Sacramento's 1st round pick, is out for 6 months after shoulder surgery. While I feel sorry for the guys that got hurt, I don't feel sorry for the teams it happened to. Injury luck always plays a part in every NBA season and when injuries befall conference rivals....well, it's just good to be on the other side of that coin.

Bad break for Carter. But as a JMac bobo, I like that it opens the door for him to get significant backup PG minutes. I know Monk may get some minutes there too, but I would concentrate on giving Monk his minutes at SG.
