if this franchise had any dreams of eschewing PG to just let Ant be the primary decision, give up those dreams.

We don't win without Ant, and it's great to always have the best athlete on the floor. But I can't give him an "A-" tonight. Mind numbing bad decisions and turnovers were too prevalent. Give him a straight B.

He’s a tough guy to judge. Hard for me to go lower than an A- when he goes 33/8/6 on great efficiency everywhere. He’s very frustrating to watch at times and that’s why he was knocked but anyone else did what he did tonight we would give them an A.
I get where you are coming from though

I get your points too, but as you pointed out early in the game, 6 straight possessions without giving up the ball. Then you had the turnovers at very inopportune times. I've seen him be a lot better.

Is he even a PG?

I think I'd give McDaniels an A even if he had goose eggs across every other statistical category. Him and Rudy made it really difficult on their Big Three.

Dream with me Q. Apparently he is obsessed with Conley only from an interview early in the year. If we had a defensive 1st PG who could distribute our long term future would be bright. This is the type of move where we will see if Tim Connelly can pay off. Im sure he will not pan out but I am a delusional Wolves fan.

Ha, OK...I'd agree with your dream scenario if Ant showed any ability whatsoever to run an offense. Or if we had a Draymond Green-like big that could do it. But for the foreseeable future, we need a pure point guard on the floor at nearly all times. That's not going to be Jaylen Clark.
But....I could see him as NAW 2.0 if he shows he can hit the open 3.
