I just can't believe Indiana couldn't get more for Paul George or take that Boston deal. That pisses me off more than anything, because if OKC came up empty handed this offseason, they might be a team that slips a notch (Westbrook is bound to slow down a bit or get hurt, no?). Instead, a team from the East bails them out and makes our path more difficult.

If Milsap goes to Denver, I will absolutely lose it.

Do you think it's time to rethink the playoffs or even the conferences? Mix the Eastern and Western conference teams after they get into the playoffs, seeding by record regardless of conference? Top 16 records into the playoffs no matter the conference? Get rid of the conferences altogether? I honestly think it's time to at least start talking about these questions.

They need to do something. It's one thing if things shift every few years, but the West is seemingly always better from top to bottom. ESPN showed a graphic the other day that 14 of the top 15 players are now in the West. That is ridiculous.

Lowry back with the Raps 3 years 100 million.

Where does George Hill get paid? I wonder if he takes a big 1 year deal from a younger team like JJ did.

Who has money and is looking for a starting PG?

Knicks?
Pistons (assuming Reggie Jackson is still in the doghouse)?
Bulls?

Probably not San Antonio, because even if Parker doesn't come back, they've still got Mills and Derrick White (rookie out of Colorado who looks really good).

A team like Dallas, LA, or Sacramento or even Philly with a rookie PG might want to give him a 1 year deal to ease their new rookie into a starting role slowly, but how much money would they pay him for that?

How crazy would it be if he ended up staying with the Jazz and playing with Rubio?

I think George Hill is going to end up getting a lot less money than he probably deserves in this market. Really good player if he can avoid the injuries.

Butler and George were two of the East's best players, and both are gone. The East has been super weak since the 90s it feels like and for some reason all the talented free agents go west. I don't understand it.

It's unfortunate and, as you said, hard to understand.

Mclemore to Memphis. They signed Wayne Seldon cheap yesterday. I'll be interested to see what $$$ McLemore got and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if ends up being the better of the 2 former Jayhawks.

2 year around 11 million for McLemore. Not a bad gamble but that's a decent chunk of money. They love guys that shoot 3's there now and...they can use all the chance to hit on young talent they can.

And Milsap to Denver, 3 years 90 mil. So both Lowry and Milsap get to the 30 mil plateau...

Somebody talk Q off the ledge, please!

The Kings just offered max deal to Otto Porter. Will the Wizards match? I sure hope so. I'm sick of the flow of talent into the West!!

I don't understand why the Wizards didn't just give him the max deal to begin with. They are gonna match. The Dunc'd on guys have been calling the Kings "The Sacramento leverages" here is the first confirmed example. Lol

Wouldn't the wizards have to pay him more if they were the ones to offer it to him? Asking, as I'm not sure.
