Chicago gets the worst of it in this proposal. Philly walks away with robbery.
And Lip, the Knicks like Ball, but they're not gonna sell the farm for him. I think Rosas will draft Ball hoping they come around but that's a major risk.
I don't think they'd lock themselves into Deni Avdija. I think they'd either focus on Devin Vassell or take one of the three -- James Wiseman, Anthony Edwards, and LaMelo Ball -- that could fall and use them as trade bait.
Sixers:
- F Otto Porter Jr. (1-year, $28.5M)
- F Jake Layman (2-year, $7.7M)
"Worthy of Discussion"? LOL! You pulled some random trade offer from Twitter posted by a guy with hardly any followers. Odds of this deal happening are zero. Its way too lopsided in favor of the Wolves.
Crouse has a solid following and has written plenty of times for SLAM online. Regardless of that, he could have zero followers and the hypothetical trade he proposed would still be worth discussing even if the conclusion is that the value just doesn't work out for all teams involved. This is a basketball forum at the end of the day.
Lastly, are you naturally a dickhead or do you consciously put forth effort to be one on this site? I've grown tired of your responses altogether.
Wow, you have such thin skin. I call it as I see it and if you don't like me responding, I suggest you not post in this forum. The twitter account you cited has very little following (in fact less people follow that account than are followed by the account holder) and is not verified, so it could be any rando. There are thousands of hypothetical trades floating on Twitter and that one doesn't strike me as sensible or even remotely likely and it is not compatible with the trade machine.
Will you trade the number 1
pick for jaylen brown? More pieces needs to be added to make thes trade work, but look at it with the number 1 pick and brown as the main pieces, will you do it?

I would do it but I put the odds at about 0.0% Boston trades a borderline all-star wing for the number 1 pick in this draft.

Ahh, so it must be a natural characteristic. You're probably fun to be around......

I don't see the Celtics entertaining that offer, but from the Wolves perspective you probably do it.

Of course.
And that's why Rosas wouldn't even entertain presenting it to Boston... for fear he'd be mocked and ridiculed by every other GM in the league.

If Rosas is truly a disciple of a Morey he has probably already called Boston at least 27 times.

I will bet its around 30x already monster.. lol. Anyway, rosas always say that he wont left any stone unturned. If we are offering the pick for Simmons and Booker, and I assumed he made those calls already. I would like to think rosas is also thinking about other guys atound the league and seeing if there are any possibilities there.
I feel a bit nervous about this draft, on one hand, I think Rosa is the first GM we have had in a long time that might be competent - but on the other hand, he drafted Culver due to being outmaneuvered by Cle and we ended up with a developmental project at best.
I get the feeling Rosa is going to make a big trade but it will probably be something out of the blue - lol the lack of any public Booker talk makes me think that is it.
My question to the board is, with the #1 pick we are about to trade - what future hall of famer are we going to whiff on?
