BREAKING: Cleveland, Denver and the Clippers have agreed on a trade sending Payton Watson to the Cavaliers, Max Strus to LA, and an unprotected 2031 Cavs first-round pick and a 2032 Kings second-rounder to the Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.

The Cavs are no longer a good fit for Kuminga. Payton Watson fills the starting role that would have been Kuminga’s. So if the reports are correct that it was a three-team competition for Kuminga between the Wolves, Lakers and Cavs, it looks like it has just become 2-team competition between the Wolves and Lakers. I’d still give the edge to the Lakers because they’re better positioned than the Wolves for a viable sign-and-trade that would give Kuminga the money he’s looking for. I just don’t see Kuminga as a guy who will settle for the vet minimum. He doesn’t seem like a player who thinks he has something to prove, even though he clearly does. Instead, he seems like player who feels entitled to more than he’s proven to be worth. Even the reality of getting moved by two teams in his relatively short career and having very few suitors in free agency apparently hasn’t entirely gotten through to him. If he signs with the Wolves for the minimum, that alone will quell some of my concern about him. But I don’t expect that to happen.

Idk 3.3 fouls a game for a rookie big man center that plays over 30mpg with energy doesn't seem that bad to me. I was expecting the number to be a lot higher than that with that concern. I guess the question I have is can he guard anyone other than centers? I have no clue.
